How it started
How hauling rig equipment across the Basin turned into a moving company
I am Wade Holloway. I grew up in Midland, and before West Texas Master Movers was ever my own, I spent years hauling rig equipment and oilfield gear across the Permian Basin for outfits that came and went with the boom-bust cycle. Moving a household is not so different from getting a rig crew where it needs to be on schedule: map the route, brief the guys, and show up when you told the customer you would. That habit runs the whole operation, and it is why most new customers still hear about us from someone on a job site or down the road.
Before my name was on the truck, I drove flatbeds and rig-hauling routes all over the Basin, seeing up close what goes wrong on a West Texas move: a quote that crept upward once the truck was already loaded, a ranch driveway nobody scouted ahead of time, a fill-in crew rolling up two hours late on somebody’s closing day.
